• Website Content: The extension reads the content of the Zendesk Talk console (specifically searching for "Incoming call" indicators) to determine when to trigger your custom audio. This data is never saved or sent away from your device.
• Local Storage: Your preferences, such as selected audio output device IDs and your custom ringtone files, are stored locally using chrome.storage.local and IndexedDB.

3. Permissions Justification

The extension requests the following permissions for these specific purposes:

• Host Permission (*.zendesk.com): To detect incoming call UI elements and play the configured ringtone on the Zendesk platform.
• Offscreen: Required to facilitate audio playback in modern browser environments (Manifest V3).
• Storage: To save your device preferences and custom selectors locally.
• Scripting/Tabs: To identify the active Zendesk tab and temporarily mute default browser audio when a custom call notification is active.
